Withthesprocketcoversopen,mountthe paperby aligningholeswith
thepinson the sprockets.
Adjustthespacingofthesprocketsby slidingthemalongthebar,using
theclampleveratthebackof eachsprocketto releaseandlockthemin
position.Whentheleverisdown,the sprocketis released,and whenit
is up, the sprocketis locked.

Nowclosethe sprocketcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholes
are aligned with the pins on the sprockets.If they are not aligned
properly,youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresulting
in tearingandjammingof the paper.
Turnonthepowerusingtheswitchlocatedatthefrontoftheprinter.The
printerwill‘beep,indicatingthat ttiepaperis not yet fullyloaded.This
is alsoconfirmedby the orange
POWERindicatorflashing.
10.Movethebailleverforward.Whenthebailopens,theprinterfeedsthe
paperautomatically.
11.Movethe bail lever back.The paperwill feed slightlyforward again,
endingin positionto printwith a top marginof aboutone inch.
12.Replacetherearcover.Holdit tiltedupwardandinsertthefourtabs at
thebottomintotheirslots.Thenrotatethe coverupwards,pressingthe
thumbpadson the left andrightto snapit intoplace.
